T. Christopher McCurry, M.D.
Christopher McCurry, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and brings years of refractive surgery experience having been in the field as a surgeon since 2013.
Christopher McCurry, MD brings years of refractive surgery experience having been in the field as a surgeon since 2013 during which time he has performed more than 19,000 LASIK procedures. Dr. McCurry has a B.S. in Civil Engineering but decided to focus on a career in medicine so he could have a personal impact on improving people’s lives. He has completed multiple Ophthalmic mission trips, helping people in South Africa and Peru. Dr. McCurry obtained M.B.A. and M.D. degrees simultaneously from the Medical University of South Carolina and The Citadel Graduate College and is published by multiple ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. During his spare time, he loves being in the outdoors with his wife and two sons.

Bruce January, M.D.
Having performed more than 140,000 refractive surgery procedures, Dr. January is considered one of the most prolific and experienced refractive surgeons in the world.
Dr. January is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is regarded as one of the most prolific and experienced refractive surgeons in the world, performing more than 140,000 refractive surgery procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, which honored him with the Lifelong Education Award, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. January earned a medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed an ophthalmology residency at the internationally recognized, top-ranked Emory University Eye Center in Atlanta.

Omar Awad, M.D., FACS
Dr. Awad has been a key-member of the Minneapolis family of brands since 2006 and has performed more than 57,000 LASIK procedures to date, solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field.
Dr. Omar Awad is a distinguished ophthalmologist who holds board certification from the esteemed American Board of Ophthalmology. With over 17 years of patient experience, Dr. Awad is a recognized authority in the field of refractive surgery, having successfully performed more than 57,000 LASIK and laser vision correction procedures and more than 6,000 cataract and lens replacement procedures. After earning his medical degree and completing his internship and residency, Dr. Awad further honed his skills through a fellowship in Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery at the world-renowned Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.

Jeffrey T. Liegner, M.D.
Dr. Liegner has practiced LASIK/PRK since its inception in the mid-1990s and has performed thousands of surgeries to correct common and abnormal refractive errors.
Dr. Liegner has practiced LASIK/PRK since its inception in the mid-1990s and has performed thousands of surgeries to correct common and abnormal refractive errors. For nearly three decades, he has been active with his ophthalmic surgical practice, teaching at specialty meetings across the globe, and innovating new patented formulations to improve and enhance cataract and refractive surgery. He is a retired US Air Force officer having served as a research physicist and flight surgeon, a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and an instrumented rated pilot and aircraft homebuilder.

Jordan Winegar, M.D.
Trained at Walter Reed NMCC and Saint Louis University, he brings unparalleled skills. As Chief of the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program at Fort Carson, CO, Dr. Winegar is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and optimal outcomes to his patients.
Dr. Jordan Winegar, MD, ABOP, is a leading ophthalmologist specializing in refractive surgery. Trained at Walter Reed NMCC and Saint Louis University, he’s a published author in ophthalmology and Chief of Refractive Surgery at Fort Carson, CO. Dr. Winegar’s expertise includes anterior segment and refractive surgeries, striving for personalized care and optimal outcomes. Apart from his professional achievements, he enjoys outdoor activities and family time. He holds memberships in prestigious organizations like ASCRS and serves as a Teaching Fellow for USUHS.
