T. Christopher McCurry, M.D.

Christopher McCurry, M.D. is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and brings years of refractive surgery experience having been in the field as a surgeon since 2013.

Christopher McCurry, MD brings years of refractive surgery experience having been in the field as a surgeon since 2013. Dr. McCurry has a B.S. in Civil Engineering but decided to focus on a career in medicine so he could have a personal impact in improving people’s lives. He has completed multiple Ophthalmic mission trips, helping people in South Africa and Peru. Dr. McCurry obtained M.B.A. and M.D. degrees simultaneously from the Medical University of South Carolina and The Citadel Graduate College and is published by multiple ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. During his spare time, he loves being in the outdoors with his wife and two sons.

Dr. McCurry obtained M.B.A. and M.D. degrees simultaneously from the Medical University of South Carolina and The Citadel Graduate College. He completed his residency at the University of Virginia and his refractive fellowship was specifically dedicated to LASIK and PRK at Hunter Vision. Dr. McCurry has presented numerous times at national ophthalmology meetings and is published by multiple ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Jeffrey T. Liegner, M.D.

Dr. Liegner has practiced LASIK/PRK since its inception in the mid-1990s and has performed thousands of surgeries to correct common and abnormal refractive errors.

Dr. Liegner has practiced LASIK/PRK since its inception in the mid-1990s and has performed thousands of surgeries to correct common and abnormal refractive errors. For nearly three decades, he has been active with his ophthalmic surgical practice, teaching at specialty meetings across the globe, and innovating new patented formulations to improve and enhance cataract and refractive surgery. He is a retired US Air Force officer having served as a research physicist and flight surgeon, a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and an instrumented rated pilot and aircraft homebuilder.

Having performed more than 135,000 refractive surgery procedures, Dr. January is considered one of the most prolific and experienced refractive surgeons in the world.

Dr. January is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is regarded as one of the most prolific and experienced refractive surgeons in the world, performing more than 135,000 refractive surgery procedures. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, which honored him with the Lifelong Education Award, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. January earned a medical degree from the University of Tennessee and completed an ophthalmology residency at the internationally recognized, top-ranked Emory University Eye Center in Atlanta.
