Dr. Jordan Winegar, a board-certified ophthalmologist by the American Board of Ophthalmology, specializes in cataract and refractive surgery. With a distinguished background, he completed his internship and residency, serving as chief resident, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. Dr. Winegar earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University in 2018, following a cum laude graduation in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Winegar finds joy in outdoor activities, including rock climbing and soccer, as well as exploring new culinary experiences and spending time in the yard with his family. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, he is also exploring Portuguese and enjoys sharing his love for building things with his children.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

After graduating cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he pursued his passion for medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2018.

His residency training at the prestigious Walter Reed National Military Medical Center further honed his skills, culminating in his role as chief resident. Dr. Winegar’s dedication to excellence has been recognized through numerous honors
